New American Tea Party

The future of America and the Tea Party movement. Transformation or Restoration?

Are we witnessing the complete transformation of our constitutional Republic or are we at the forefront of a momentous restoration of our republic? The truth is that we've not only witnessed, but have allowed a slow and steady erosion of our personal liberties and economic freedoms. And now after years of war and economic strife, Americans are angry and disillusioned. So the question becomes, how did we get here and who is to blame? Why are both sides so angry and feel as though nobody represents them?

In many ways the mainstream of American politics tries to keep us focused on the last few chapters of a large book. We're never allowed to go back and read the previous chapters. Chapters which would inevitably help explain what we're seeing today Of course, if we don't look to the past and learn from history, then we'll never know where we've failed and what we must to do to correct it. The mainstream political machine doesn't want us to fix it. If we ever hope to restore the Republic that our founding American's gave their life for, we must insist on turning back to the first chapter and understand what it was that made us great and what we've lost along the way.

A constitutional republic with a non-inflationary monetary policy, empowers the people over the powerful. What we have today empowers only the powerful. The powerful establishment have managed to frighten us through the use of multiple crises, and like a kid who's found a new toy – they can't give that power away. The sad fact is that after 9-11 all power hungry, manipulative politicians realized how fear can be used to enact great change. As a result, the American people are under assault daily with fear to enact legislation they really (given the time to debate) don't want. When you stop and think about the list, it's truly staggering. Terrorism, Climate Change, Health Care, Energy and certain other so-called “dangerous countries”. All of this is simply an effort to scare the people into submission so that they (the powerful elite) can erode our constitutional principles.

The good news is that the American people are starting to wake up. All across America, as the health care debate raged on – you began to see the people making their voice heard. Millions attended their local town hall to voice their opinion on the health care plan. Congressional representatives were shocked and unsure how to handle this. You'd think that in a constitutional republic our representatives would applaud this incredible activism. But no. They were called names. Their motives impugned and marginalized. Those in the establishment media and government thought they could destroy them, but instead it only made them stronger.

The Tea Party movement has spread across this country like a burning fire of freedom. This culminated in the march on Washington, where roughly 1 million Americans gathered to voice their support – not for a particular party – but for the constitution. For freedom and liberty. To further make you understand the importance of this movement I now reference you to a recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll which says it all. The American people support this new tea party movement more than either party. The polling sample had more democrats than independents and more independents than Republicans.

So what does our President think of this new constitutional movement? According to the New York Times he referred to the movement as being “anti-government”. Excuse me for a second, but how can you be for the constitution and against government? They're not anarchists, they support the constitution. Isn't President Obama the one trying to enact unconstitutional legislation whereby the government forces you to buy a particular insurance plan? We need to thank President Obama for his leadership. He has shown the American people what a progressive looks like when it's trying to destroy our constitutional republic. He has awoken them and now we must find a man to lead this country and restore it. Every American among us must consider what happens if men and women of good will do nothing. It's time we start thinking about what we want to leave our children and the next generation. Will we allow this nation to be transformed, or will we instead choose to restore our constitutional republic?

That is the final decision that lay ahead. I pray we choose the right one.

I'm hoping that the TEA Parties will continue. Keep it up! Both Parties need to be shaken up.
